Time for a new home – we need your help please!

We are currently based at Westgate Outlet Centre in Westgate; this has been our home for the past 4 years. Our Toy Library is seeing growing membership numbers and a growing number of toys which has left us bursting at the seams. We currently have 120 members and over 800 toys!
Our members enjoy coming into our toy library to hire toys and connect with other families during our session times, creating supportive relationships with one another.
Unfortunately, the building we are renting has been sold and we have been given notice to vacate no later than 30 March 2023. This sale means that we will not be able to continue to operate the library if we cannot find a new premises.
We now need to find a new space for our library to operate from in our community – this is now a necessity.
We’ve been a part of the West Auckland community for 4 years and we are now calling on that community to help us to find our next space – someone will have a building or a shed or even a piece of land that will be suitable for us!
We need a space that can tick these boxes:
✓ Large enough (a large hall or couple of larger rooms) - ideally with cupboards or lockable storage for our toys
✓ Good access – ground floor is a must for our parents and children
✓ Good parking
✓ Minimal rent - we are a non-profit organisation that relies on grants, donations and fundraising to operate the toy library so we need minimal rent charges. Sponsorship
options of the library are available.
✓ Ability to open at least Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 9:00am to 11am and every second Sunday 2.00pm to 4.00pm.
